Has anyone stayed at Surf City Hostel in Hermosa Beach or Venice Beach Hostel?

Anne asked: Looking for some inexpensive alternatives to stay overnight in the Los Angeles area. I found these on websites - but are they safe, clean, comfortable? Very limited travel budget. Please let me know if anyone has stayed at these or if you have alternatives. Thanks, AnneBOYD
